Well for one if he's got enough sp to proto right of the bat your going to want to put that sp into core skill instead. So you can fit ANY suit well and give it a better tank and scans! No point if wearing expensive suits if you have low survivability.

As far as the suit, a standard calsent seems like a good plan for a hit and run(ish) but for a slow and mean tank your going to wan to go galente.

Caldari Logistics. It didn't get nerfed to hard and it got a huge buff in it's CPU/PG; leading to more CPU/PG for TANK. It's like a heavy with equipment slots. Cores are pretty solid; 5/5/5, though his armour/shields need some work. We're looking to avoid future proto grind, not start spamming proto right off the bat :) I personally am a big fan of STD CalSent, and I've suggested taking the suit that far (if perhaps no further).
